Ways to Give
You donation helps adult learners improve their English-language skills so they can unlock possibilities to shape their future, support themselves and their families, and engage confidently in their community. Literacy isn’t just a skill, it’s a pathway to independence.
For gifts of $5,000 or more, please complete our Gift Agreement Form so we can ensure your gift is used as you intend, either as an unrestricted gift or to support a specific area of our work.

Employer Matching Gifts
Your employer may match your charitable contribution, allowing your gift to go even further. Check with your employer to see if they offer a matching gift program.
Employer Volunteer Matching
Some employers provide charitable grants based on the number of hours their employees volunteer with eligible nonprofits. If you volunteer with Literacy DuPage, check with your employer to see whether your volunteer hours may qualify for a gift.
Tribute or Honorary Gifts
Make a gift in honor or memory of someone special. A tribute gift is a meaningful way to recognize a friend, family member, colleague, teacher, or other person who has made a difference in your life.
To make an individual tribute gift honoring someone, click the Donate Today button and check the option “Dedicate this gift” and note the honoree’s full name at the prompt.

Planned Giving and Bequests
Create a lasting legacy by including Literacy DuPage in your estate plans. Bequests and other planned gifts help ensure that adults in our community, and future generations, have access to English language support for years to come.
Our Literacy Legacy Circle honors individuals who make a lasting commitment to promoting literacy and developing life skills for independence through planned giving. Members of this special group help ensure that future learners have the resources and support they need to build literacy skills, achieve greater independence, and pursue new opportunities.
Literacy DuPage does not provide legal, financial, or tax advice. Donors should consult their own professional advisors to determine the best planned giving options for their personal circumstances.
