Conversation Groups

Conversation Groups offer adult ESL learners with intermediate and above language skills a valuable opportunity to practice listening and speaking English in a relaxed, comfortable setting with their peers. Learners at this level can generally carry on simple conversations, ask and answer questions, and share personal stories, but may still need practice to build fluency and confidence.

These groups help participants strengthen their skills and open doors to new opportunities—whether that's connecting more easily in their communities, advancing at work, supporting their children’s education, or participating more fully in everyday life. Beyond language practice, Conversation Groups provide a welcoming space to meet others, share experiences, and feel part of a supportive community.

Meetings take place frequently, either in person or virtually over Zoom, and there is no fee to attend.
